What is a CPA?

A CPA is short for a Certified Public Accountant. A CPA is a licensed accounting professional who has met specific requirements set by a state board of accountancy in the United States. They generally possess in-depth knowledge of accounting principles, tax regulations, and auditing procedures, and the designation "CPA" is the highest level an accounting professional can earn in the US. Similarly-certified professionals in adjacent fields include CFA (Certified Financial Advisor) and JD (Juris Doctor/Lawyer). David founded YCCPA to provide easy-to-understand and implement business, financial, tax, and similar wisdom and education for creatives to utilize in their art and their business.
